Housing
This ground-floor dwelling, originally built in the 19th century, was found in a state of severe deterioration. The project seeks to recover its original essence through the use of traditional materials and techniques, while incorporating contemporary solutions that improve its functionality.
The spatial layout is defined by a series of built elements, with only the minimum partitions required. The design proposes to define without closing off, to organize without imposing.
The intervention emphasizes the dialogue between void, materiality, and light through a conscious selection of constructive elements. Together, these decisions shape a project that reaffirms the identity of the passage and reinforces its condition as a singular space within the urban fabric of Barcelona.
