This project forms part of the theoretical and practical research Designing the Void, which advocates rethinking housing—not as a commodity defined by market value, but as infrastructure shaped by its potential for use.
Starting from a dwelling with more rooms than windows, the proposal opens and empties the space. Existing partitions are removed, and two essential elements—the kitchen and bathroom, defined as “the minimum means to inhabit a place”—serve as anchors. Around them, a series of unprogrammed voids are created, offering flexible spaces for diverse uses. Multiple access points in these voids support continuous circulation and simultaneous activities.
